The Texas Society of CPAs is the premier professional membership organization for CPAs in Texas. Founded in 1915, the society empowers members to lead and succeed by promoting professional excellence, advocating on behalf of CPAs, and supporting a sense of community and connection among its members. TXCPA Permian Basin serves members in the Midland and Odessa areas and is committed to offering programs and services that advance the highest standards of ethics and practice with the CPA profession.

Meredith McKeehan, CPA, has been elected 2025-2026 president of the Texas Society of CPAs (TXCPA) Permian Basin Chapter. McKeehan currently serves as partner and Midland assurance leader at Weaver.

Midland-based certified public accountant Mackenzie Craft, CPA, audit senior manager at Weaver, was named president-elect of the chapter.

Joining McKeehan and Craft on the 2025-26 TXCPA Permian Basin Board of Directors are:
