Scholarships Start With Supporters Like You
For decades, TXCPA Permian Basin has been proud to support the next generation of accounting professionals through our scholarship program. Thanks to the generosity of our members, local firms, businesses and community supporters, we awarded $24,000 in accounting scholarships last year to deserving local students pursuing careers in accounting.
Now through October 1, chapter members and area organizations are invited to contribute to our annual scholarship fundraiser and make a lasting investment in future accountants, the profession and our chapter. Every sponsorship dollar directly supports accounting scholarships for local students.
Scholarship sponsors will be recognized at our 39th Annual Shrimp Boil, taking place on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at The Shack in the Back in Odessa. This beloved tradition brings together accounting students, CPAs and business professionals for an evening of networking, relationship-building and community support in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. Our guest of honor is Peter Olinto.
