This year, we will be sponsoring the School Tools Program, held by the Southeast Texas Food Bank in Beaumont. School Tools is one of 43 resource centers in the United States that provides school supplies for students who are economically disadvantaged. The school’s population must be 70% or higher of students receiving free or reduced lunch.
The free store allows teachers at those schools to access the supplies six times per year. The teacher must be approved by the Principal of the respective school and they can select any three months from September to December. And, then again, any three months from January to May. The teachers distribute the supplies to the children whose families cannot provide them.
