TXCPA Southeast Texas is now accepting applications for its 2026 Scholarship Program, established to support accounting students who plan to become Certified Public Accountants and enter the accounting profession.

Scholarship Eligibility
Applicants must:

Be a student member of TXCPA (student membership is free).
Be a junior or senior accounting major, graduate, or certificate student attending Lamar University for fall 2026.
Have completed Intermediate Accounting I with a grade of “B” or higher on the first attempt.
Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA in accounting courses.
Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Optional but encouraged:

Community involvement
Participation in TXCPA Southeast Texas activities

Application Materials
Applicants should submit:

An unofficial cumulative college transcript through fall 2025, including credit hours and GPA.
A typed one-page letter describing yourself and why you want to become a CPA.
