Pathway to CPA was created specifically for accounting students attending SFASU and UT Tyler. It includes a plan of study and road map created to help accounting students complete 120 hours to sit for the CPA exam and complete 150 hours necessary for certification. This is not an official graduation document or official degree map.
The preliminary course schedule gives you a plan of study at each school. The road map helps you know when to fill out your application of intent and other items needed to successfully sit for the CPA exam.
You will also find exam review courses and discounts, along with other important materials. This plan was created by TXCPA East Texas with the cooperation of SFASU and UT Tyler accounting staff. (Published February 2025)
