The TXCPA Corpus Christi January newsletter is now available and features a mix of professional updates, upcoming educational opportunities, and chapter highlights to start the year strong.

This month’s newsletter celebrates the success of the 15th Annual Counting on Santa Gift Drive, which raised more than $700 in donations and nearly 100 gifts in support of Catholic Charities of Corpus Christi’s Ministry and Life Enrichment for Persons with Special Abilities Program. Thanks to the generosity of members and community partners, gifts were distributed during the Heart of Christmas event, continuing a meaningful chapter tradition.

You’ll also find important information on the Annual Tax Conference, an 8-hour program focused on federal tax law changes under H.R. 1, featuring Bruce McGovern of South Texas College of Law Houston. The conference will include the January Chapter Meeting and voting on the proposed 2026–2027 Corpus Christi Advisory Board slate.

Additional highlights include the upcoming February CPE Luncheon focused on IRS enforcement trends, ways to support TXCPA PAC ahead of the 2026 election cycle, recognition of new members and membership anniversaries, information on the TXCPA Midyear Leadership Council and Members Meeting, enrollment in the M&A Advisory Certificate, and a schedule of free CPE opportunities available to members.
