Accounting for Your Future is a three-event series created especially for college students interested in accounting, finance and the many career opportunities available in the profession. 

Each event gives you something different:

Explore your options. Discover the many career paths available in accounting and finance — some you may not even know exist!

Make real connections. Meet CPAs and other professionals, hear about their experiences and ask the questions you really want answered.

Meet your future employers. Connect with firms and companies looking for the next generation of accounting professionals.

Young Accounting Professionals
The TXCPA-SA Young Accounting Professionals (YAP) group is made up of CPAs, candidates, and accounting students between the ages of 22 and 40 who meet to socialize, network, perform community service and have fun.

Expand your network through Chapter Meetings
Expand your network of accounting professionals in public practice as well as business and industry by attending upcoming TXCPA-SA Chapter Meetings.  Call the Chapter office for FREE tickets to Chapter meetings - we encourage you to be 'OUR GUEST'!

Community Involvement

Volunteering to benefit nonprofit organizations.

Stuff the Van for Blue Santa involves TXCPA-SA members, family, and friends collecting toys and financial donations for the San Antonio Police Department’s Blue Santa program. Details for Stuff the Van for Blue Santa 2026, luncheon - December 10, 2026, Embassy Suites Landmark, 1604/IH-10 (11:30 - 1:00) Volunteer hours will be TBA. 

Join TXCPA-SA members, co-workers, and supporters each year for the Texas Society of CPAs’ Month of Service.  November 2026 is Accounting Opportunities and Financial Literacy Month.  Join your fellow colleagues and visit middle schools, high schools, and universities and discuss the exciting careers of the CPA profession while encouraging building wealth and a strong financial foundation for the future.
