Internship opportunities, shadowing, careers in accounting, getting a job.

The Fall 2021 Accounting Careers Workshop is your opportunity to meet CPAs who work in a variety of careers, talk with recruiters about upcoming internship opportunities and become a first-time student member of the Texas Society of CPAs gratis. Details on the 2021 Workshop TBA.

Young Accounting Professionals
The TXCPA-SA Young Accounting Professionals (YAP) group is made up of CPAs, candidates and accounting students between the ages of 22 and 40 who meet to socialize, network, perform community service and have fun.

Expand your network through Chapter Meetings
Expand your network of accounting professionals in public practice as well as business and industry by attending upcoming TXCPA-SA Chapter Meetings.

Community Involvement

Volunteering to benefit nonprofit organizations.

Funlympics, TXCPA-SA’s largest and longest-running community service project, requires an army of volunteers to host hundreds of Bexar County children each summer for a half-day of games, followed by a cook-out and school supply distribution. Funlympics 2021 will consist of a virtual fundraiser to provide 500 backpacks stuffed with school supplies to children at local community centers which participate regularly in Funlympics. Stuff the Van for Blue Santa involves TXCPA-SA members, family and friends collecting toys and financial donations for the San Antonio Police Department’s Blue Santa program. Details for Stuff the Van for Blue Santa 2021 will be announced later this summer.

Join TXCPA-SA members, co-workers and supporters each year for the Texas Society of CPAs’ Month of Service. Details announced in early fall.
