TXCPA Dallas, a chapter of the Texas Society of CPAs, is a not-for-profit professional association serving approximately 6,000 members in Dallas and the surrounding 13 counties. It is the second largest chapter of TXCPA, the statewide professional association with over 28,000 members and 20 chapters around the state.

Join us for Estate Planning Update: Tools and Techniques on Wednesday, October 29 from 8:30 a.m. at Greenhill Towers in Addison. This session will cover recent legislative developments, emerging strategies and practical tools for estate planning. Participants will gain insights on generation-skipping transfer tax planning, wills and powers of attorney, trusts, probate procedures, nonprobate assets and IRS audit considerations.

Join us for K-1 Preparation, Interpretation and Analysis: Partnerships, LLCs and S-Corporations on Thursday, October 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Greenhill Towers in Addison. This course provides an in-depth review of Schedule K-1s, highlighting structural and reporting differences across entities and their impact on tax preparation. Topics include at-risk limitations, recourse and nonrecourse debt, distributions, loan repayments and composite state filings. Participants will gain practical skills to prepare and interpret both simple and complicated K-1s.
