DFW EMPOWER WALK & 5K RUN FOR AUTISM SPEAKS

You’re invited to the Dallas–Fort Worth Empower Walk & 5K Run benefiting Autism Speaks on Saturday, April 18, at Levitt Pavilion in Arlington. Walk, run, or cheer while supporting individuals and families affected by autism and enjoy a morning of community and connection.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR #ADULTING

Volunteer May 7–8 at #ADULTING at the Arlington ISD Dan Dipert Career and Technical Center. Help high school seniors practice budgeting, managing expenses, and making financial decisions through fun, interactive booths. Connect with students and fellow CPAs while making a real impact!

The April TXCPA Fort Worth newsletter is now available, featuring upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and leadership development programming. Members are encouraged to attend Convergence on April 24 in Dallas, which will feature keynote speaker Cynt Marshall, retired CEO of the Dallas Mavericks, along with quality CPE and professional insights.

The chapter is also seeking volunteers for the #ADULTING financial literacy event on May 7–8 in Arlington, where CPAs help high school students practice real-world budgeting and financial decision-making. Additional highlights include networking opportunities such as Eats, Beats & Balance Sheets on May 14 and the Summer Celebration at Joe T. Garcia’s on June 18. Members can also apply for the Leadership Development Program at the Inn on Lake Granbury, a two-day retreat focused on professional growth and connection.
