Renee Prince CPA, CGMA
Renee is driven by her entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for her profession. She has served on various AICPA and TXCPA committees to drive the profession forward through continuing education, continuing the pipeline of potential CPA candidates, working with federal, state, and local politicians to advocate for policy for accountants and taxpayers alike, and creating an environment to foster growth with other firm owners. As a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas and Lubbock Christian University, as well as national and local chapter leadership academies, she has consistently sought opportunities to not only grow as a leader but also to create strong bonds between and within organizations. Renee loves working with clients to help them achieve their dreams. In her spare time, she loves to read, hike, and spend time with her family in the pool. Bruce earned his undergraduate degree from Columbia University and his JD from Fordham University School of Law. He clerked for Judge Thomas Meskill on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and practiced law at Covington & Burling in Washington, D.C., before earning an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida. He teaches and writes in the areas of taxation and business organizations, with courses including Federal Income Taxation, U.S. Taxation of International Transactions, Partnership and Subchapter S Taxation, and Federal Tax Procedure. A frequent presenter on federal income tax updates, Bruce is a Council Member of the State Bar of Texas Tax Section, a past Chair of the Houston Bar Association Section of Taxation, and a Fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel.

Bruce McGovern brings deep expertise and a dynamic teaching style to the classroom and the podium. He is a professor at South Texas College of Law Houston and serves as Director of the school’s Low Income Taxpayer Clinic. Previously, he held the role of Vice President and Associate Dean for Academic Administration. Bruce earned his undergraduate degree from Columbia University and his JD from Fordham University School of Law.
