Financial Literacy Focus for December 2020
TXCPA Fort Worth Branding and Community Outreach Committee is proud to highlight the Chapter’s participation in TXCPA Month of Service in December 2020. This year, TXCPA and the Chapter focused our outreach on financial literacy education and service.
- Over 200 members plus 200 of our nearest and dearest provided a gift and a set of clothes to children at the Center for Transforming Lives and HOPE Farm. 400 copies of The Berenstain Bears' Dollars and Sense book went home with these families.
- Philip Hernandez presented Money Management 101 to the life skills class at Goodwill Industries of Fort Worth Inc.
- Heather Banks and Josh Willson presented Money Management 101 to the older boys at HOPE Farm.
- Sara Averett, Ken Huffman, Tram Le, Chris Lucas, and Jeremy Sweek wrote financial literacy articles in 2020 for Fort Worth Inc, targeted to c-suite executives.
