The TXCPA Houston Membership Committee and Young Professionals invite members, family, and friends to volunteer with local animal rescue organization, Rescued Pets Movement (RPM) on Saturday, October 25th from 12:30 - 2:30pm . RPM is located at 2317 W 34th St, right off 610N and East TC Jester Blvd.
Volunteer opportunities include everything from puppy baths, dog walking, kennel cleaning, providing belly rubs, folding laundry, and stuffing toys with treats. PLEASE NOTE - you must be over age 18 to have direct contact with the dogs/puppies. Children under the age of 18 can help fold laundry, help on poop patrol, and stuff toys with treats.
RPMs mission is to provide a second chance for thousands of homeless dogs and cats through rescue, rehabilitation, and transport to forever homes within communities throughout the United States. Since starting operations in late 2013, RPM has saved the lives of over 94,000 homeless companion animals by rescuing them from area shelters and transporting them to their new forever homes via reputable rescue partners.
Grab yourself, a friend or family member and bring wagging tails to some great dogs. There is something for everyone. As RPM relies on donations, please consider bringing a roll of paper towels, garbage bags, canned pumpkin, a jar of peanut butter, or any old towels/sheets. All volunteers must sign a waiver prior to attending the event.
Looking forward to seeing everyone!
