The 2026 S.T.A.R.S. will be at the Houston Marriott Sugar Land.

This page also includes information about valet and shuttle options. (Please note, we do not pay for valet.) If traveling from the airport, we recommend a taxi service or Uber/Lyft rides.

Event Check-In

The check-in table will be outside the ballrooms where you will get your nametag, agenda, and lanyard. Check-in begins at 6:30 AM. The first session starts at 7:00 AM. To view the entire agenda online, see the section below.

Online Agenda and Cvent

We are using the conference platform Cvent for the online agenda and session information.

The Attendee Hub is a one-stop-shop for your agenda, discussion forums, and more. This will be going live on May 12th. After downloading the Cvent app or logging-in with the link below on or after 5/12, you will be able to view your customizable agenda, session times, speakers, and sponsors at the conference.

📱To view conference materials on your phone in Cvent:

1. Access the App Store on an iOS device or the Play Store on Android.

2. Install the App – Search for Cvent Events. Once you have found the app, tap either Download or Install.

3. Search for the Event – Once downloaded, open the Cvent Event and enter "2026 Spring Technology and Accounting Resources Summit"

4. Open the event – Tap the TXCPA Houston logo to open it.

5. You will be asked to provide your email address. You have been invited to the app with the email you used for conference registration. Please sign-in using this email. As part of the initial log in, you will be provided an access code via your email address.

💻Prefer to log in from your computer?

A link will be available here one week prior for registrants to log-in on a computer browser instead of on a smartphone. Once in the app or logged-in on a computer, you can view the Event FAQ to learn more about all of the features on Cvent, such as viewing the agenda and connecting with fellow attendees.

To update your name, title, or company, you can access and edit your Profile in Cvent through either the mobile app or your desktop:

On the mobile app, click the profile button on the bottom menu bar.

On desktop, click your profile in the top right corner.

Digital Materials

Please note, session presentations and materials will be shared digitally only. Please print prior to attending if you would like paper copies. We will have printed agendas at the check-in desk each day. The sessions materials website will be shared with registrants on Monday, May 12th. Thank you for your patience!

Conference Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be available for attendees on both days. Breakfast starts at 7:00 AM.

Community Support Opportunities

This year, we’re focusing on learning, networking, and giving back. At S.T.A.R.S., we’re offering meaningful ways to support both our local and national communities. We will announce ways to participate and donate, as well as exciting door prizes for those who bring donations, as we approach May. Attendees will be emailed updates as they are added here. We are thankful for each of you, and we can’t wait to see you at the conference!

Please note: The venue will aim to have comfortable temperatures throughout the space, but it can still be cold in certain rooms. We recommend bringing a light jacket to the event.
