Membership Dues


TXCPA CPA dues are $325, plus required chapter dues

CPAs holding valid and unrevoked certificates issued by the State Board of Public Accountancy of any state or territory of the United States or District of Columbia, whether or not engaged in the public practice of accountancy are invited to join TXCPA.

Membership is also open to accounting professionals holding a valid and unrevoked certificate or license issued by a foreign credentialing entity recognized by TXCPA.

New Texas CPA licensees can join for free upon receiving their license. After completing their complimentary membership, these new licensees receive a discount on renewal for the first two years of paid membership.

Other CPA Membership Types:

Retired or Legacy CPAs: $135, including chapter dues

CPA members who are retired or hold a retired license status with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy, CPA members who have obtained 40 consecutive years of membership in TXCPA subsequent to May 31, 2015, or CPA members who are not gainfully employed.  Note: Legacy members working full time are invoiced at the CPAs dues rate above. Contact our membership team if you need an update to your employment status and renewal statement.

Business and Accounting Educator CPAs: $135, including chapter dues

High school or college/university educators who teach business-related classes on a part-time or full-time basis.

 

Affiliates:

Accounting and Finance Professionals: $310, including chapter dues

Open to industry-related credential holders, non-CPA professionals working with and sponsored by a TXCPA CPA member, and non-CPA professionals holding a bachelor’s degree who work in the accounting/finance function in an organization.

Associates: $595, including chapter dues

Not a licensed CPA, does not qualify for any other membership categories. Offers a related service or product for accounting and finance professionals. Requires two TXCPA CPA member sponsors.

Business and Accounting Educator Non-CPAs: $135, including chapter dues

High school or college/university educators who teach business-related classes on a part-time or full-time basis.

Candidates: $135, including chapter dues

Non-CPA members who have graduated within the past five years and are pursuing a CPA license or those who are within five years of passing the CPA exam but not yet certified.

 

Students:

Students: FREE

College students enrolled in a business-related field of study, excluding those who have earned a CPA or related credential.
