PSC Provides Feedback on GASB Discussion Memorandum on Structure for Communicating GAAP

In a letter to GASB, the PSC expressed support for the proposal to establish a single-authority GAAP Codification. The committee also endorsed retaining the current overall structure and emphasized the importance of transition resources.

I would love to tell you a story about finding a passion for helping business owners or saving people money on their tax returns. The honest truth is I realized being a CPA was going to give me a job forever and help me build the lifestyle I wanted. I enjoy travel, fancy restaurants, and good wine. Being a CPA has given me a path to that. Along the way I have certainly enjoyed helping people (I'm not a monster y'all), but its not the actual WHY that drove my choice.

I was excited to get involved in my local chapter and give back to the community. I actively participated in events and the chapter followed up with lots of opportunities for me to serve and lead.
