TRUEUP STUDENT INNOVATION CHALLENGE

BUILD THE BEST BOT FOR ACCOUNTANTS

Bots are disrupting the accounting profession fast and it's become an opportunity for humans to automate repetitive, mundane tasks like reading invoices, data entry, or running reports leveraging bot technology and artificial intelligence so that we can put our brains to better use guiding companies toward financial growth.

Our chapter is leading Houston’s involvement in the TrueUp Bot Challenge to help our students gain hands-on experience in building bots and exploring what bots can do.

Why participate?

  • Students earn a TrueUp Bot Challenge Badge they can include on their resume, LinkedIn, or share with recruiters.
  • Students own their published bot and can use it or sell it at their discretion after the challenge.
  • Students get feedback on their published bot from CPA firms and professionals who complete evaluations forms.
  • Win prizes! winners will be announced at TXCPA's Awards Banquet, with the opportunity to network with top CPAs in Houston.
