New Licensure Pathway in Texas
On August 1, 2026, Texas' new CPA licensure pathway becomes effective. The new pathway allows CPA candidates to earn licensure by completing a bachelor's degree with the required accounting and business coursework, completing two years of qualifying work experience and passing the Uniform CPA Examination.
