TXCPA Houston 2020-2021 Outstanding Young CPA of the Year
Phil has played an active role in TXCPA Houston since he was a student at the University of Houston, and even more so since receiving his Texas CPA license in 2019. He participated in the Young Professionals Committee and in 2020, accepted the call to serve as chair. Phil has been instrumental in reaching out to Young Professionals and creating an inclusive environment at committee meetings as well as at events. He is a true leader who takes every committee member’s idea seriously. Phil actively develops relationships with students and volunteers through video chats, answers their questions, and generously shares his experiences. As a former scholarship recipient, Phi appreciates current and future members who have helped others grow and succeed within the CPA community. Phil is, and has been, a strong voice for membership in TXCPA Houston.
