As a TXCPA Houston Past President and active member, Mark has long been one of the Chapter's most admired and respected leaders. As Chair of the Accounting Scholarship Endowment Committee, Mark led his group through an exploration of ways to reach a $2 million scholarship endowment goal. Mark participated in interviewing potential fundraising consultants and exploring other alternatives for raising money. He also asked for a review of transfer policies into the endowment fund, resulting in the green lighting of moving an additional $246,000 into the fund. Mark also emceed the 2021 Scholarship Extravaganza.
