2022 Silent Auction

Back by popular demand TXCPA is hosting a silent auction to raise funds to support the Accounting Education Foundation’s scholarship program.

When: July 1-2, 2022
Where: Annual Meeting of Members in Round Rock
Participation:  Chapters and members are encouraged to donate items that have regional flavor. 
Deadline to submit donation form: June  15, 2022.

All funds raised at the silent auction will benefit the AEF, which aids, promotes, develops, and advances education and research relating to the study, teaching and practice of accountancy and related fields. It is through the generosity of TXCPA members that the AEF is able to provide scholarships to deserving accounting students in Texas.

Examples of possible or suggested donations include: 

- Sports and events tickets 
- Hotel, resort and spa packages 
- Restaurant packages and gift baskets 
- Apparel and jewelry 
- Items for home or office 
- Color photographs and/or lithographs 
- Paintings and signed sports memorabilia 

The more unique, the better - so be creative!

Silent Auction Donation Form

Funds raised by items donated for the auction will benefit the Accounting Education Foundation of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, Inc.

Arrangements for delivery of donation to auction (check one):

For federal tax purposes, the donor is solely responsible for determining the value of noncash items. For
donations up to $500, we accept the donor’s stated value for the item(s). For item(s) exceeding $500, an IRS
Form 8283 for Noncash Charitable Contributions will be signed by an authorized TXCPA representative when
presented by the donor. For item(s) valued at more than $5,000, a qualified appraisal must accompany the
donation at the donor’s expense.

Don’t forget that you can support the mission of the AEF any time of year by making a direct tax-deductible monetary donation. It’s a quick and easy way to help support Texas students and recognize outstanding accounting educators.
