TXCPA Corpus Christi is dedicated to giving back to our local community. The chapter has various volunteer opportunities throughout the year with different organizations in the Corpus Christi area.
Volunteer Opportunities
2023-2024 Mentor Program
TXCPA Corpus Christi is committed to serving our students and young CPA members. We have created a fantastic mentorship program designed to unite students studying to become a CPA or young CPAs just beginning their careers with seasoned CPA professionals to help guide them and give them career advice. As a mentor, you will be paired with a mentee for the fall and spring semester. The group will meet periodically virtually, and mentors and mentees are encouraged to meet in-person regularly. Virtual meetings will be over Zoom, and we will have guests come to speak to the group on various topics related to becoming a CPA, studying for the exam, careers in accounting, etc. We will also schedule a few in-person meetings for the group, and highly recommend mentors scheduling time to meet with their mentees outside of the scheduled meetings.
