UTA’s Department of Accounting annual Firm Night 2021 is almost here!  We would like to extend an invitation to your firm to join us.

This year’s event will look a little different than in the past.  We will be holding the event virtually, via MS Teams.

Here’s some quick details:

When: Friday, February 19^th, 2021 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Where: Virtual, via MS Teams

And here’s some additional information:

Firms and students will all join a general session for the first ~10 minutes.  We'll welcome everyone and explain how the event will work.

The general session will remain open throughout the event for students/firms who have questions or need help.

After the first ~10 minutes, the breakout rooms will open.  Each firm will have a channel that they will host.  Students can then visit the various channels to meet with the firms.  We suggest a firm have 2-3 representatives available in their channel.  

At the same time as Firm Night we will also host our Speed Networking event.  Each firm will be in a channel.  Two students at a time will come into the meeting and rotate every 4 minutes.  If a firm has two representatives participating in the Speed Networking, we can set up two channels for that firm so that each of the representatives can speak with a student one-to-one.  You must have at least two representatives attending the event in order to participate in Speed Networking.  (At least one representative should be available for your Firm Night channel, which is concurrent with Speed Networking.)

PDF resume books will be provided for all attendees.  Additionally, firms and students can share files (like student resumes and firm brochures) via the meeting chat.
