Fingerprint-Based Background Check

Deadline: Aug. 31, 2022

Texas CPAs who have not already completed the fingerprint-based background check requirement need to do so by August 31, 2022.

Texas licensees who hold the retired or disabled status with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy (TSBPA) do NOT need to get fingerprinted, unless they seek reinstatement.

CPAs who want to check their fingerprinting status or learn how to complete this requirement, can simply follow the instructions on your Texas State Board account page after logging into Online Services on the TSBPA website.
