Terms and Conditions for Participation in the Find-a-CPA Program

1. Program Overview
The Find-a-CPA program is a complimentary member benefit provided by the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA). It offers a searchable online listing of qualified individual and firm members for the purpose of connecting the public with licensed, active CPAs and CPA firms.
2. Eligibility Requirements
To participate in the Find-a-CPA program, you must:
- Hold a qualified, active TXCPA membership in good standing.
- Opt in to the program by submitting the official online enrollment form.
- Be reviewed and approved in accordance with the standards and guidelines established by TXCPA.
Participation is limited to those who meet all eligibility criteria and continue to maintain an active membership with TXCPA. The association reserves the right to determine and revise eligibility requirements at any time.
3. Listing Approval and Content
- All listing submissions are subject to review and approval by TXCPA staff.
- TXCPA reserves the right to accept, reject, edit, or remove any listing at its sole discretion.
- Members are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted is accurate, truthful, and up to date.
- Listings must not include misleading, false, or inappropriate content.
4. Listing Display and Search Results
- All approved listings are randomized daily to ensure fair rotation.
- No search results will be returned if fewer than three approved listings match the criteria submitted.
- TXCPA does not guarantee listing visibility or inclusion in any specific search result.
5. Fees and Membership Requirement
- Participation in Find-a-CPA is free of charge as a benefit of TXCPA membership.
- To maintain an active listing, participants must remain TXCPA members in good standing under a qualified membership type.
- Any lapse in membership status may result in immediate removal from the listing.
6. Limitation of Liability
- TXCPA makes no guarantees regarding the number of referrals or inquiries generated by the listing.
- TXCPA does not endorse or warrant the services of any listed member.
- TXCPA is not liable for any disputes or claims arising from client relationships initiated through the program.
7. Privacy and Public Display
- Listing information submitted through the opt-in form may be displayed publicly on the TXCPA website.
- Participants should only submit content they are willing to be shared with the public.
- Listings may appear in online directories, search results, and third-party search engines.
8. Changes to Terms
TXCPA reserves the right to modify or terminate the Find-a-CPA program, or to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
