HB 797 Hearing Set for March 15

AUSTIN - House Bill 797, legislation allowing CPA candidates and students to begin taking the CPA Exam after completion of 120 semester hours, is scheduled for a hearing before the Texas House Committee on Licensing and Administrative Procedures on March 15. This is the companion to Senate Bill 159, which was presented at a hearing of the Texas Senate Business and Commerce Committee on March 7.
