The Texas Society of CPAs is the premier professional membership organization for CPAs in Texas. Founded in 1915, the society empowers members to lead and succeed by promoting professional excellence, advocating on behalf of CPAs, and supporting a sense of community and connection among its members. TXCPA East Texas serves members in 20 Texas counties and is committed to serving the public interest with programs that advance the highest standards of ethics and practice with the CPA profession.

CPE Hours: Up to 8
TXCPA East Texas will hold its CPE Expo on May 23 at the Soules College of Business at UT Tyler (3900 University Blvd, Tyler | map ).

CPE Expo will feature several great speakers and topics. Topics include an economic update, the multigenerational workforce, written information security plans, and BOI reporting. A live ethics course taught by TXCPA East Texas member Kathy Kapka will be offered. Attendees can get up to eight hours of CPE credit.

The Year-End Chapter Luncheon will begin at noon during the CPE Expo. Scholarship recipients will be recognized, along with our chapter board members and new licensees.
