Conferences I/O
The Houston CPA Society uses Conferences I/O for Q&A throughout the session. You can access the tool from any device (cell phone, laptop or tablet) by visiting hcpas.cnf.io. Once you are in, please click the session you are attending and you will be able to add your questions there or vote for questions as needed.
Check In
NEW – You have asked us to leverage technology more and we hear you, so we are beta testing an attendance tracking tool. When you log into Conferences I/O and select your session, you will see a check in button. Click on the check in button and then at the end of the session check out. This will track the time you are in the session. Don’t worry – this is not big brother watching as we only know you are in the session when you check in and out and we don’t know where else you are going. At the end of the day, you can send a receipt to yourself with all your hours for the day.
We will still be doing attendance tracking the usual way as well by having you sign in and out, but we definitely want everyone’s assistance in testing this new tool and please
provide us with your feedback.
Detailed instructions for checking in and out can be found at the registration desk, and at each seat at the start of the first session.
CPE Credit: 8 hours
TSBPA rules states: the total CPE credits for a continuous program cannot exceed the actual time spent in the program. Continuous conferences and conventions, when individual segments are less than 50 minutes, should be combined and counted as one total program. For example, five 30-minute presentations would equal 150 minutes and should be
counted as three CPE credits.
For every 50 minutes, you will receive 1 credit hour of CPE. For every 30 minutes, you can receive a half hour of credit. CPAs are responsible for reporting the correct amount of hours. CPAs are responsible for reporting the correct amount of hours.
Leaving Early: Please sign out at the registration table.
ACMPE Credit: 6 hours
