Cast Your Vote for 2024-2025 TXCPA Houston Leaders and Proposed Bylaws Changes

Results Will Be Announced at the Annual Business Meeting on January 18

Slate of Leadership Candidates

All eligible TXCPA Houston members have until midnight on Jan. 16, 2024 to accept or reject the slate of candidates for 2024-2025 leadership positions including Officers, Board of Directors, Finance Committee, Strategic Planning Committee, Nominating Committee, and Houston Chapter seats on the TXCPA Leadership Council. The current Board of Directors approved the slate as recommended by this year's Nominating Committee. A complete list of candidates appears on the online ballot. Each member may vote to "Accept" or "Reject" the full slate.

Proposed Bylaws Changes

The Board of Directors formed a Bylaws Task Force to propose updates to TXCPA Houston's Bylaws. Part II of the online ballot includes: 1) a link to the complete redline document showing all proposed changes; and 2) a summary of proposed changes and rationales. Each member may vote to "Accept" or "Reject" the proposed changes.

Only current TXCPA Houston members are eligible to vote. However, eligibility will be verified; ballots without members' full names will not be counted.

Election Results Announced on Jan. 18

Election results will be announced during TXCPA Houston's Annual Business Meeting and Dinner on Jan. 18, 2024 at The Briar Club. Click here to register for this complimentary membership event.

Notes of Appreciation

TXCPA Houston extends its sincerest appreciation to members of the Nominating Committee (Chair: Charlotte Jungen; Vice Chair: Katherine R. Rodriguez; Felicia Farrar; Darrell Groves; Kim Huynh; and Geri Pacheco) for developing a slate of candidates whose members possess the skills, backgrounds, career paths, and experiences that will make the Houston Chapter stronger.

TXCPA Houston also appreciates the work of the Bylaws Task Force (Chair: Austin Carlson; Danielle Supkis Cheek; and Darrell Groves) for proposing important changes to the Chapter's Bylaws.
