2025 National MAP Survey Results

National and Texas results from the 2025 Management of an Accounting Practice (MAP) Survey are now available.

The 2025 National (MAP) Survey reveals CPA firms raised starting pay—17% for master’s grads, 11% for bachelor’s—to address talent shortages. Compensation rose across all roles, while firms cautiously explore AI and automation to enhance efficiency.

The National MAP Survey is a bi-annual benchmarking survey that helps firms understand how they perform compared to others and how they can better manage their business. Firms are able to benchmark their operations with those similar in size and region and also against top-performers, through a dynamic survey platform.
