Investing in the Future Through the Silent Auction
Every CPA has a story about someone who helped open a door along the way — a mentor who offered guidance, a scholarship that eased financial pressure or an opportunity that helped launch a career. The profession continues to grow and thrive because people invest in people.
Again this year, TXCPA members, firms and organizations have an opportunity to pay that support forward through the AcctoFi Silent Auction.
Held in conjunction with the TXCPA Annual Meeting of Members, the Silent Auction supports scholarships and educational initiatives that help students pursue the CPA profession and build successful careers in accounting and finance. More than a fundraising event, the auction represents a shared investment in the future of the profession.
The path to becoming a CPA is more challenging - and more expensive - than ever before. Proceeds from this event help provide critical support that creates opportunities for future CPAs to earn their license, enter the profession and succeed long term.
The Silent Auction also offers members a unique way to engage with the TXCPA community in a more informal and social setting while supporting a meaningful cause. Donations from individuals, firms and organizations help generate excitement among bidders and directly contribute to scholarship funding and education programs.
We welcome a wide range of high-interest items and experiences, including:
- Sports and entertainment tickets
- Hotel, resort and spa packages
- Restaurant experiences and curated gift baskets
- Apparel, jewelry and unique accessories
- Home and office items
- Original artwork, photography or lithographs
- Signed sports memorabilia
The Silent Auction will take place during the TXCPA Annual Meeting of Members, June 25-26, 2026, in San Antonio. The auction closes June 25 at 9 p.m. CT. Donations are tax deductible, and donors may choose to be recognized individually or on behalf of their firm or organization.
